To enable laboratory technicians to deal costeffectively with bacteriological culturing in the tropics, Contherm has developed the Tropicool system. Plate and sample drying problems are greatly reduced with the "Tropicool" system. Higher than "normal" humidities are maintained due to the low temperature difference between the system's cooling fins and the interior air, thus elevating the dew point. The unique fan scroll also contributes to this capability, providing a dynamically-balanced true one-pass air circulation system. An easy-to-set and read digital LED display allows the laboratory professional to operate these incubators up to +50°C with a set-point accuracy of 0.1°C without problems.
