Description

The WineScan™ FT120 Basic is the solution for the smaller wine producer with the need for fast and cost-effective analysis. Ready made calibrations allow for the simultaneous analysis of major wine quality parameters. Sample preparation is easy as no preheating or chemical pre-treatment is required. Low cost per  sample as no expensive reagents are needed. Automatic flow system gives a purging efficiency of >99%, delivering reliable and consistent results. The automatic zero setting function is included to ensure stability in the system and a ready-to-use instrument. The WineScan FT120 Basic analyses main wine parameters such as Ethanol, pH, sugars and organic acids. Data used for calibration development represents a

great variety of wine types from red, white and rosé

wines from major wine countries worldwide.

Technology

The WineScan FT120 Basic has a FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy) interferometer that scans the full mid-infrared spectrum. Collection of data from the entire spectrum gives the opportunity to analyse many parameters.
